TADA!

We are thrilled to share this exclusive announcement that TADA! has recently been honored with a new Arts Advancement Initiative grant of $100,000 from Bloomberg Philanthropies.   This grant will fund, in part, a new five-year strategic plan that will help stabilize our organization and provide a roadmap for measured growth for years to come.  To maintain this generous support, we must secure matching funds of $20,000 by August 31. If each person who sees this pos gives a minimum $15 to this appeal, we will not only meet this goal but surpass it, and finally end this year in the black. We must be honest--TADA! has struggled in the past three years, just like everyone else--in this challenging economic climate. We have operated with the bare minimum during this period, and now it is time to plan to be a fully mature organization in time for our 30^th birthday in 2014.

For further motivation, we also have an anonymous donor who will match the first $20,000 received from individual donors by August 31st.  So, your gift can actually help TADA! receive $140,000 by the end of the summer!

One of TADA!'s main goals is to help make growing up easier, and we achieve this mission in a variety of ways.  Our intensive and completely free year-round Resident Youth Ensemble Program allows its 70 members to feel at home and creative doing what they love to do -- performing in original musicals for family audiences. We provide financial aid for up to 30% of the kids in all of our classes and camps. This year, our In- and After-School Residency programs have grown by 27%, and the Dance-a-Thon, our first ever kid-generated fundraiser, surpassed our income goal by 50%.  Next year we will return to our three show season, and offer classes, camps and residencies that will continue to serve over 30,000 of kids and their families annually.

Throughout our 27 year history, we have asked our kids to stretch their talent, our teachers and professional artists to stretch their expertise, and our staff to stretch their time and resources.  Today, we are asking you to stretch yourself by giving in a way that reflects what TADA! means to you, the kids in your life and the kids you've never met who are better because of our programming.  Please give generously by clicking here.
