Calling all teens! Come see new plays written for and performed by teens like you.  These plays take a fierce, unabashed and sometimes funny look at important issues and experiences for anyone age 12 to 19.

Join us for our popular staged reading series by both youth and adult playwrights, winners of the Gregory Millard Memorial Playwriting Award, with a Question and Answer session following each performance.  The series is free and open to adults and teens ages 13 and over.

TADA! Theater 15 West 28th Street, 2nd Floor (Between Fifth and Broadway).

To make reservations, please call (212) 252-1619, ext 28.

About the Staged Reading Series

TADA!'s Annual Staged Reading Series, now in its 15th year, encourages playwrights to create theatrical works that address issues of importance to contemporary teens. Past staged reading plays have focused on topics ranging from teenage crushes, friendship, and peer pressure to date rape, alcoholism, AIDS, divorce, and war.

Each year winning plays from our Annual One-Act Playwriting Contest receive a staged reading in the series. The play is minimally staged in four to five rehearsals and the actors perform on-book. The series allows the playwright to develop his or her dramatic work in a collaborative environment where the focus remains on the script.
