Teaching Artist Opportunities: TADA! is not seeking new Teaching Artists at this time. Internship Opportunities: TADA!'s internship program offers students a hands-on opportunity to learn about the operations of a renowned youth theater and arts education organization. We are always looking for smart, motivated people to join our team. Send us your resume and a cover letter telling us why you're interested in TADA!. College and graduate student interns can arrange to receive credit and may choose to complete a project in conjunction with their internship with the approval of TADA!'s management and we can work around your class schedule. Please note: TADA! does not provide housing for interns.
Artistic Intern: TADA! seeks an Artistic Intern to join our team. Intern will report directly to the Executive & Artistic Director, Janine Nina Trevens, and to the Executive Assistant. An excellent opportunity to gain experience in the performing arts and be an active player in a great organization. Intern must be organized, computer proficient in MS Office software, able to multi-task, and possess the ability to function with a wide range of personalities and age ranges. The position requires working with youth and teens while assisting in rehearsals and Ensemble events. College credit available. Development & Marketing Intern: TADA! is looking for a Development and Marketing Intern to join our team. Intern will assist with various development & marketing duties including: researching grants, assisting with individual giving and special events, marketing, publicity, press and more. Education Intern: TADA! is seeking Education Interns to support TADA!'s renowned arts education work through arts administration and/or direct teaching artist opportunities. In addition to providing hands-on assistance and observation of our Education Programs, interns will learn how to create, manage and produce effective theater programming for youth. Interns are expected to have a commitment to theater and education, provide administrative support to the Education staff, be well organized and have strong attention to detail, demonstrate computer proficiency, and commit to a consistent schedule for at least one month. Education Saturday Assistant: TADA! seeks an Education Assistant to help with our Saturday Musical Theater classes for the upcoming Spring semester (April 10 - May 22). The internship provides an opportunity to learn about arts education and management while contributing to the operations of our programs.
Responsibilities of the Saturday Assitant Position:
- Provide back-up assistance in Musical Theater classes (for ages Pre-K through 8th Grade) on Saturdays from the hours of 10:00-5:30, shadowing Teaching Artists and working one-on-one with students.
- Be a front desk greeter during classes. Responsibilities include welcoming and receiving kids and families, assisting with check-in procedures and registration, and answering general administrative questions. Ability to multi-task, including handling phone calls and a high volume of people is essential. Additional front desk greeter duties may include providing administrative support for TADA! Education Staff and Teaching Artists such as lyric sheet typing, photocopying, database entry, and filing.
- Open and close theater offices and classroom spaces. Maintain general upkeep of TADA! space.
- Potential opportunity to work on Education-related projects such as surveys, educational theater research, class observations, etc.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Requirements of the Saturday Education Assistant:
- Applicants should be outgoing, responsible, patient individuals with excellent administrative, interpersonal and organizational skills. Strong attention to detail is required. Assitants should be people with a passion for youth and arts-in-education. Educational Theater students and/or Musical Theater students a plus.
Winter semester runs for 7 consecutive sessions on Saturdays from April 10 to May 22.
Hours are 9:30-5:45.
Ideal candidates would be available for entirety of semester.
Position unpaid, but college credit and fieldwork hours are available.

Administrative Intern: TADA! seeks to hire up to three administrative interns, each with a different concentration including general office assistance, business, and house management. Individual positions can be tailored to interns� interests. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in arts administration and in the workings of a non-profit organization. Intern candidates must be organized, computer proficient in MS Office software, able to multi-task, and possess the ability to function with a wide range of personalities and age ranges. All positions require working with youth and teens and may include assisting with Ensemble events. Interns must be able to take initiative with a project and see it through to completion. College credit available. Stipend available for house management intern. Production Intern: TADA! is looking for a Production Intern to join our team in providing assistance to our Production Department while learning about the operation of a youth theater from a production standpoint. Intern will report directly to the production supervisor and works closely with all production staff members. Intern should possess demonstrated computer skills, preferably with MS Word and Excel, and interact successfully with a wide range of personalities including staff, artists, volunteers, parents and a cast of kids, on the phone and in person.
