TADA!'s Arts Education and Ensemble Programs are taught by an enviable pool of devoted professional teaching artists. Teaching artists work with the kids at every level in TADA!'s arts-in-education residencies, regular and advanced classes and provide individual coaching. Selected artists' bios are below:
Eric Rockwell (Music Theory) holds a B.A. in Vocal Music and a B.M. in Piano from Cal State Sacramento. Eric has composed, written, musical directed and directed mainstage productions for TADA! and has directed and choreographed shows for Timbers Dinner Theatre and Periwinkle Productions. Eric is a member of the BMI-Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop, the Musical Theatre Works Lab, and the Dramatists Guild.
Lester Thomas Shane (Voice and Diction) trained in the BFA program at Carnegie-Mellon University and has studied Speech and Dialects with Edith Skinner and Directing with Lawrence Carra, as well as participated in the Director's Forum at Columbia University. He has directed several productions in venues such as the John Houseman Theatre, The Basic Theatre, and the 42nd St. Collective. He has taught at T. Schreiber Studio and has served as Dialect Coach for both private clients and productions as well. He currently teaches at the New Actors Workshop.
