A lot has changed since 1984, but one thing has stayed the same: TADA!'s unwavering commitment to producing exceptional, original theater with a diverse community of youth in New York City. This year, we are ecstatic to announce the revival of three of our most popular original musicals: SLEEPOVER, EVERYTHING ABOUT SCHOOL, ALMOST, and LITTLE MOON THEATER. Join us for these TADA! original musical favorites that the whole family can enjoy! TADA! Youth Theater kicks off our 2025-26 season with another classic hit musical, Sleepover.
Sleepover dives into the hilarious world of teen life where friendship is everything, secret crushes are revealed, and the biggest drama is who makes the guest list.
The girls are planning. The boys are crashing.
Let’s Get This Party Started!
Sleepover, an original TADA! production, is perfect for ages 3 and up, runs approximately 1 hour and is designed to be an ideal first theater experience for children, complete with age-appropriate themes, high-energy performances, and affordable ticket prices.
This production is directed by TADA! Executive & Producing Artistic Director Janine Nina Trevens, choreographed by Kim Grier-Martinez, with music direction by Gia Gan, set and lighting design by Steve O’Shea, and costume design by Zhang Yu.
This TADA! classic first debuted in 1990.

Sleepover 2018
In celebration of TADA!’s 40th Anniversary, this fan favorite returned to the stage April 26 – May 18th with a bold new vision that brings the golden age of 1990s kids’ TV game shows to life.
Follow six determined, young contestants as they battle their way to the top of Mt. Victory, all for the chance to claim the ultimate prize. Along the way learning that sometimes the Journey to Victory is about more than winning.
Game Changers is an original TADA! production with a book by Christina Franklin, and music and lyrics by Matthew Gregory. This 2025 production was directed by Resident Youth Ensemble of TADA! Alum Ceanna Bryant, choreographed by Kim Greer-Martinez, with music direction by Emmanuel Vidales, set design by Andrew Machovec, lighting design by Steve O’Shea, and costume design by Carla Thomas.

The History Mystery
This fall, TADA! Youth Theater delighted audiences by reviving a beloved favorite, The History Mystery, which originally premiered in 1998!
In this fun and educational musical adventure, three history-hating teens are transported back in time where they meet inspiring historical figures such as the Suffragettes, a young Benjamin Franklin, Martin Luther King Jr., Eleanor Roosevelt, and more. Along the way, they discover the importance of the past and how it shapes our future.
Performances ran from October 19 through November 17, 2024, at the TADA! Theater and featured the incredible talents of the Resident Youth Ensemble of TADA! (RYET).
The History Mystery is an original TADA! production with a book by Janine Nina Trevens, TADA!’s Executive and Producing Artistic Director, music by Eric Rockwell, and lyrics by Margaret Rose. The production was directed by Janine Nina Trevens, choreographed by Kim Grier-Martinez, with music direction by Emmanuel Vidales and Lucas Colon, set design by Joel Sherry, lighting design by Bryan Ealey, and costume design by L.A. Clevenson.
