Through classes in musical theater, TADA! provides students tools for successful group interaction and improved self-esteem. Classes are taught by two teaching artists (a director/choreographer and a music director) with extensive experience in music, theater, dance and education. Personal and creative growth takes place in a structured and supportive environment. Ensemble methods are taught to encourage cooperation and discourage competition. These classes provide a forum for creative and emotional expression, while developing concentration, discipline, teamwork, confidence and public speaking ability.

This residency incorporates the academic curriculum extensively. It may also allow students to explore important issues in their lives. Past scripts have focused on topics as varied as immigration, teamwork and drug prevention. If you would like cost information about TADA!'s programs or would like to arrange an initial meeting, call Marcie Sturiale, Director of Education at (212) 252-1619 x15.
