TADA! Anniversary Angels

TADA! seeks interested and dedicated individuals who want to be involved in our organization by becoming an Anniversary Angel. 

If you have some extra time on your hands want to make a commitment to working on a designated project with us over a designated period sometime during the next two years, we would love to hear from you about what you are interested in doing, either from the list below or with another idea that you think will serve the organization. There is no formal structure for this group as a whole, or required meetings for you to attend. Rather, each Angel will work with TADA! (and perhaps a small group of other Angels) to complete a certain project or task, as agreed upon, discussed and supported by TADA! administration. Proposed Angel projects include:

  • Special Event planning
    -Chairpersons for February auction and other events to be determined
    -Auction organizers helping to obtain prizes and run event
  • Program ad sales researching local business and soliciting partnerships/advertisements
  • School outreach/introductions
    -Researching and identifying schools and community centers through outreach in the TADA! community and web searches
    -Reaching out to those schools to introduce TADA! residency programs and group sales
  • Volunteer coordination helping us ensure we have helpful hands when we need them
  • Direct Appeal Chairs Holiday Appeal; Scholarship & Summer Match- helping us reach out to community to solicit donations and encourage others to do the same
  • Board growth getting to know Board processes, and helping to find, solicit and cultivate new members
  • Corporate outreach help to build our corporate funding base through introductions to corporate decision-makers for
  • Vacation camps at corporate office
  • Performances by Ensemble
  • Sponsorship opportunities
  • Board and Angel prospects
  • Help make the Empire State building lit in red for Anniversary
  • Marketing resources/projects
    -Create retrospective anniversary exhibit in lobby
    -Generating web/social networking content internet scavenger hunt, blogs, etc.
  • Development resources/projects
  • Introductions to funding resources
  • Handiman, renovation or general contracting work on TADA! facilities

And more! What's your idea?

All Anniversary Angels will:

  • Be listed and acknowledged in official TADA! printed materials as an Angel
  • Be encouraged to advocate on behalf of the organization, spreading the word about show tickets, classes, residencies, birthday parties, space rentals, etc.
  • Be solicited for donations through regular appeals
  • Be invited to personalize a donor appeal to their friends and family
